Abstract

The objective of the work was evaluate the influence of sanitary-hygienic effect on the TBC, SCC and centesimal composition of milk. The work was carried through in the farm of the Instituto Federal Goiano – Campus Rio Verde, Goiás, Brazil. Were collected biweekly milk individual samples of a cattle herd. Two systems of production were used: without and with hygiene of milking. The analysis were carried through in the Laboratório de Qualidade do Leite of the Centro de Pesquisa em Alimentos of the Escola de Veterinária of the Universidade Federal de Goiás. The TBC was evaluated by means of the equipment Bactoscan FCO (Foss Eletric, Denmark). The SCC and the centesimal composition was evaluated by means of the equipment Fossomatic 5000 and Milkoscan 4000 of the Foss. The values of TBC had not differed between the production systems. The values of SCC of the system of production with hygiene were better that the system of production without hygiene.
