Abstract

This paper shows how the production of seasoned salt brings results for small business owners. Systems and variable absorption costing were used for further analysis of the result, the company applied to the data studied to see which fits the current structure of the business. Profitability, where are the threats on the competitiveness and what are the chances of future business of the company. The case study was conducted in the Sea Salt Seasonings (ME) company in the city of Vacaria-RS, with the goal of improving understanding of costing system in the production of seasoned salt.
