Abstract

The biotechnology acted, and works at long time in animal nutrition, been present in many process of the ingredients in a balanced diet. Corn, soybean meal, amino acids and vitamins, were the ingredients of animal diet first undergo changes by biotechnological processes aimed at the production. This article aims to demonstrate how biotechnology, applied in the diet ingredients, participated in the development of poultry nutrition and is, even today, working to enable high production rates achieved by the production.
