Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the weight gain tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) using diets containing increasing levels of pie cupuaçu (0%, 10%, 20 and 30%). The experiment was conducted at São Pedro fish farming, Santa Luzia Para-PA. To assess weight gain were conducted with 240 tambaqui, starting with 100g. A total of 12 experimental units with size of 1.7 x 2.55 m2 where each unit alocava 20 fish, with levels separated in triplicate, in a period of 60 days. The result showed that the fish fed the diet without inclusion of pie cupuaçu (control diet), had the best performance that fish fed the other levels (10%, 20% and 30% respectively). In conclusion that increasing the inclusion interfere negatively on the performance of the species.
