Abstract

The swine production is considered by the ambient agencies as activity of great polluting potential which had the presence of high amounts of some nutrients as nitrogen and phosphorus. The manure produced for swines are consequência of the amount and digestibility of the nutrients supplied in the diet. Therefore, professionals in animal nutrition can contribute for the reduction of the ambient pollution through nutritionals strategies that can optimize the use of nutrients for the animals. The aspects that they can intervene, as for example through the knowledge of the nutritionals requirements in some phases of production are several and for sex; synthetic amino acid use, formulation of diets on the basis of the ideal concept protein and exógenas enzyme use. Beyond minimizing the problem of the ambient pollution, these strategies will be able to provide an increase in the profitability and of the support of the production system.
