Abstract

The China Tree (Melia azedarach L.) is a plant native to Brazil and used in numerous surveys as botanical insecticides and used in herbal medicine human. The Ripicephalus (Boophilus) microplus tick known as a parasite of catle is of high importance, producing direct and indirect losses for the transmission of diseases and high cost of products for your control. This study evaluated the effect of crude extracts from the bark of cinnamon to 1% and 5% for the control of R. (Boophilus) microplus by in vitro test. This test was conducted with ticks to define the concentration of the product through the reproductive efficiency. It was observed that the product had the best result was a crude extract 1% of the bark showing 19.17% effective.
