Abstract

Angiomyolipoma is a benign tumor with low occurrence in domestic animals. Its diagnosis can only be made through biopsy after surgical removal has been carried out. The present work aims to report the occurrence of a case of angiomyolipoma in the vestibule of the vagina of a dig, mixed breed, nine years old, with evolution of the neoformation over four years. The treatment of choice was surgical resection of the neoplasm, with the challenge of locating the urethra. After resection of the neoplasm, reconstructive vulvoplasty was performed. Despite being a benign neoplasm, the veterinarian in charge must have precise knowledge of anatomy and reconstruction skills, as important anatomical structures may be compromised.
