Abstract

This paper reports four cases of squamous cell carcinoma in Pit Bull´s breed dogs, that were treated at the VeterinaryHospital of the University of Uberlândia (UFU), diagnosed by Pathology Service Animal UFU as Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Used as experimental treatment vincristine sulfate at a dose of 0.025 mg / kg at intervals of seven days of application in three applications associated with the use of prednisolone 1mg/kg being excision performed 30 days after the end of the chemotherapy protocol. It was found that chemotherapy has kept stable, without the appearance of more nodules and ceased growth even noticing a tissue repair, which helped in the success of the surgical process.
