Methods to elevate the reproductive rhythm of sheep

Was revised management techniques that don't make use of applied biotechnologies to the animal reproduction, capable to elevate the reproductive rhythm in sheep. The practices here presented prioritize management measures that, in most cases, are less expensive than the assisted reproduction methods. The subjects covered were: mating season; controlled breast-feeding; early weaning; male effect; flushing; light program; genetic breeding and calving systems. Although these practices aim to increase production efficiency, their implementation in the production systems demands previous knowledge of the interdependence of these themes.
