Abstract

The occurrence of myositis of chew muscles is a relatively sporadic clinical disease in dogs and cats. However, this condition affects especially the large breed dogs and middle-aged, but may arise out of these patterns. The characteristic of disease is difficult to open the mouth, drooling, dyspnea and in a chronic form, symmetrical and bilateral atrophy of facial muscles. This report aims to report the case of a Mixed-breed dog, 2 years old, diagnosed and treated with immunosuppressive drugs in order to promote the normalization of the patient’s condition.
