Uterus morphological and morphometrics modifications, during gestation time, in goats without established breed

With the purpose to identify morphological and morphometrical alterations of goats uterus without established breed from Piauí - Brazil, during differents gestations time. The internal and external morphology of uterus as well it’s histologicals characteristics were studied. Eight uteri were studied, one nonpregnat and the others at different time of gestation. After the hysterectomy was measured the organ and all the anatomical aspects were observed. Soon after we fixation of then, fragments with formalin at 10%, histological analysis were realizaded. The morphological modifications were observed with characterize each gestation time. The cervix did not show change in its length, but there was an increase in the diameter at partuturition time approached.
