This work had the objective to evaluate the aerobic stability of silages made exclusively by sugarcane of the variety RB-92579 or by this forage containing fresh or wilted gliricidia, being storage by 45, 90 and 120 days after ensilage. The experiment was carried out in a randomized design in the outline [(2x3x3) + 3], composing 21 treatments in three replications. The silages were proceeding of experimental silos (plastic boxes) with 10 liters of volume. After the opening of these silos, it collected closely 300 grams of all silages putting down the samples not compressed into plastic battles without cap, keeping them in covered barn. It evaluates the temperatures of the environmental and the silages exposed to air during 10 successive days read at 8, 15 and 20 hours). The determination of the dry matter, pH, water-soluble carbohydrates and yeast quantity had made in the first and in the tenth experimental days. The exclusive sugarcane silages stored by 45 days and the silages which received 25 % of fresh gliricidia and stored by 45 and 120 days after ensilage, showed 120 hours of aerobic stability (P<0.05). The silages composed by 75 % of sugarcane and 25 % of wilted gliricidia with 45 and 90 days after ensilage showed aerobic stability of 168 hours (P<0.05). The exclusive sugarcane silages and those which received fresh gliricidia showed increase in the average values for dry matter and pH, and decrease in the tenor of water-soluble carbohydrates and in the quantity of the yeast’s colony former units (P<0.05). The stored silages during 90 and 120 made with 75 % of cane and 25 % of wilted gliricidia presented the best results in relation to the evaluate parameters. The wilting and the gliricidia proportion were important factors on the referred kind of forage conservation.
