Abstract

It was used 14 newborn cadavers of cattle, 06 males and 08 females, Nellore, from refrigerators of Uberlândia - MG. The animals were fixed in formalin 10% and later dissected. The cranial mesenteric artery arises from the ventral surface of the aorta abdominal or common trunk with the celiac artery (celiac trunk). She gave branches to the left adrenal branches pancreatic artery, caudal pancreaticoduodenal artery, middle colic artery ileocecocolic, jejunal arteries. The jejunal arteries anastomose with branches of the ileal and cecal artery ileocecocolic. The caudal mesenteric artery arises from the ventral surface of the aorta abdominal caudal, near its termination, and issues where the left colic artery and the cranial rectal. Anastomosis between the left colic artery and middle colic were noted in all preparations.
