Abstract

The presence of Myocardial Bridging, (MB), occurs when a beam of cardiac muscle overlaps the segment of the epicardial coronary artery. Although MB is clinically silent in dogs, in humans it can be associated with heart attacks, ischemia, arrhythmias and sudden death. In this way, 21 hearts were analyzed, and it was possible to observe the presence of MB in 61.90% of the hearts. This work proposal has the main goal verify the occurrence of MB, such as its topography, morphology and its relationship with the most common heart diseases in veterinary clinic.
