Abstract

Biodiesel is considered an environmentally friendly fuel, biodegradable, nontoxic, and virtually free of sulfur and aromatics, when replacing the conventional diesel, biodiesel can reduce emissions of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide with the search for renewable sources. For each ton of biodiesel are produced about 100 kg of glycerol, with the accumulation of this coproduct in the environment can cause contamination of soil and water, thus, research is being undertaken to find alternatives to the use of surplus glycerol. The cost of animal feed is around 70% of all production. And one of the ways to be decreasing this cost power is the use of by-products like glycerin in animal feed and also helping to preserve natural resources (no pollution).Biodiesel is considered an environmentally friendly fuel, biodegradable, nontoxic, and virtually free of sulfur and aromatics, when replacing the conventional diesel, biodiesel can reduce emissions of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide with the search for renewable sources.
