Abstract

The area covered by dung represents 0.8 to 2.0% of the total area of pasture, it shows that the distribution of piles in the area occupied by the animals is not uniform, causing a concentration of feces in areas where animals stay longer as close to the water fountain, fences and gates, and in shaded areas where the animals were most of the time on the activities of rest and rumination. It seems that there is no indication that the rejection of piles is an important factor in production systems intensive production
