Abstract

Foreign body is a term that is used to refer to any foreign object present in the animal's body. Usually these objects are responsible for causing pain, choking, anorexia, among other symptoms, varying according to the location they are located in the body. The objective of this work was to report a case of foreign body in the cervical region of a Thih-Tzu canine. The final diagnosis was realized through a simple radiography; with which it was possible to see the presence of a sewing bug. The animal was sedation and then removed the foreign body. One day after the removal of the object, the animal could eat and drink normally.
