Finishing cattle in feedlot whole corn grain-based diet

The objective of this work was to carry out a bibliographical review on feedlot with whole corn grain diet for finishing cattle. The present work was carried out through a literature review, that is, the literary review of research carried out by authors on the topic described. Feedlot system in Brazil arrived as a technique to revolutionize beef cattle raising, raising rates, improving production and increasing product quality. The use of corn-based diets has been used to improve animal performance and reduce production costs. It is concluded that the producer must pay attention to the price of corn and animals, so that he does not have losses during the respective process and higher yield per hectare.
