Abstract

The aim of this paper is to report an unusual case of pustular dermatophytosis in a feline caused by Tricophyton rubrum, which mimicked the pemphigus clinically and histologically. This report demonstrated the importance of a careful clinical analysis and the use of complementary exams for a correct diagnosis. After diagnosis and treatment with topical and systemic antifungals, the animal has fully recovered from the lesions.
