Abstract

Cannabidiol oil represents a new milestone for its potential for therapeutic interventions in Veterinary Medicine. This study consists of the presentation of a clinical report on a Dachshund dog who presented pain due to a lesion in the cervical spine, and which, in view of the inefficiency of the allopathic treatment and the non-submission of the animal to the surgical intervention, was submitted to treatment with the use of cannabidiol oil (CBD). The achieved results confirmed the possibility of using CBD oil as a strategy for pain management in the animal that participated in the case study.
