Rural extension on Brazil and National Politics of Assistance Technique and Agricultural Extension

Abstract

The model of agriculture practised to cause negative impacts as the loss of ground, genetic erosion, contamination of the ground and the water between many other effect. Considering this scene and thus searching to minimize these processes, the National Politics of Assistance Technique and Agricultural Extension was created - PNATER, that an established agricultural extension in the epistemological principles of the agroecology guides. Between the changes, it is to the requirement of a new profile of extensionist, use of participatives methodologies, minimization of use of external resources to the property, and the production of vegetables and animals with the minimum degradation of the natural resources.
