Abstract

The brachial plexus is a group of nerves that innervates the forelimb, composed of sensory and motor nerves, whose origin is the spinal cord between segments C6 and T2. Cats often suffer injuries of locomotor organs, caused by trampling, misapplied injections, and dislocations, sprains, fractures among others. This report refers to a cat with a history of left brachial plexus injury, with mild axonal disruption, and has suffered spontaneous regeneration, with the physiotherapy treatment protocol and adaptation of splint.
