The poultry industry is proving year after year as one of the most important sources of animal protein for the population. So that the birds can fully express their genetic potentiality, it is essential to also develop other areas involved in production as the thermal environment of creation. Thus, this paper aims at giving a brief description of the architectural concepts in poultry facilities, highlighting the importance on the welfare of birds.
