Abstract

The present work tried to evaluate the ROSS lineage broiler breeders hens acting, from the 30th to the 47th weeks of age, submitted to diets supplemented with 25-Hydroxycholecalciferol [25-(OH)-D3]. Based on total casualty delineation, were tested the treatments: T1 – flocks that had received supplemented diets with 25-(OH)-D3; T2 – flocks fed with basal ration, without that supplementation. The following parameters had been evaluated, having as unit the week of production: % of mortality, % of egg production, % of hatchable eggs, daily ration consumption, relation between ration consumption:produced egg and rude profitability. Amongst these variables, was observed significant statistics difference (p<0.05) between the treatments only for % of mortality, presenting the best result those flocks fed with diets that contends 25-(OH)-D3 supplementation.
