Abstract

The objetive was to assess the levels of aspartate aminotransferase AST, Creatine Kinase CK and Lactate dehydrogenase LDH in equine region of Imperatriz – MA, being subjected to physical strain 43 animals 08 females and 35 males, divided into 06 groups. 9ml was collected blood prior disinfection jugular vein and collected by puncture into tubes vacutaimer samples were immediately centrifuged at 3000 rpm in the under refrigeration until analysis. By means of a spectrophotometer at wavelength of 340nm , it was determined the enzymes aspartate aminotransferase (AST) , creatine kinase (CK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) with commercial kits which were prepared following the methodology of kit . The analysis of variance and mean test between groups showed no variation between sexes ( P < 0.05) . As for the age factor in the young animals the values were higher . The group of animals of the project presented Hippotherapy highest average value and significance between groups for the enzyme LDH (mean 605.00 U / L ± 143.28 U/I -valued ( p < 0.01) elevation of not revealing activity of AST and CK .
