The aim of this study is to characterize macro and microscopic changes in uterine fallopian tubes of embryo donors previously submitted to a series of follicular punctures, created in the Uberaba-MG region. Due to the difficulty in confirming pregnancy, 33 female bovine oocytes were sent for slaughter by follicular aspiration. Their reproductive devices were separated and the right and left tubes were evaluated. In the histopathological evaluations were found 30 alterations being: 43% (13/30) of acute salpingitis, 33% (10/30) acute catarral salpingitis, 17% (5/30) chronic salpingitis, 3% (1/30) desquamation of Epithelium and 3% (1/30) mucosal degeneration. With the present work it can be inferred that continuous follicular aspiration in bovine females promotes lesions seen under light microscopy in the uterine tube, such as acute, catarrhal and chronic salpingitis, mucosal degeneration and scaling of the epithelium. These lesions may be results of lesions that started in the uterus and / or promoted by the puncture of adjacent structures leading to the reduction of the fertility of these animals.
