With the progress of veterinary medicine, a prolongation of animal life occurred and an occurrence of chronic diseases such as cancer. It is unanimous in the veterinary medical literature the importance of the complete evaluation of the patient for the resolution of the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of the animals with neoplasias. Lymphoma is a neoplasm of malignant character and a rapid evolution of the history and the physical findings consist of the anatomical location and the affected organs. Clinical signs are usually non-specific. Anorexia / hyporexia, weight loss and transmission are common signs of various forms of lymphoma surgery. The definitive diagnosis is effected by the cytological and / or histopathological analysis of the affected tissues. The present study aimed to report a case of an 8-year-old Labrador Retriver dog that presented diarrhea with progressive weight loss, inappetence and vomiting. A hard consistency of approximately 3 cm was noticeable on palpation. Complementary exams such as radiography, abdominal ultrasonography and complete blood count were indicated. Confirming a presence of a neoplastic mass in the abdominal region, however, it was not known in which organ was located with suspicion that it would be present not spleen. The dog was referred for exploratory laparotomy surgery with possible splenectomy. It was observed that about 75 to 80% of the intestine was affected by neoplastic lesions. Several fragments were referred to a histopathology. The result of the histopathology concluded a malignant lymphosarcoma, presenting metastasis in the pancreas.
