Abstract

In veterinary medicine, increasing the number of cases of mammary tumors in female dogs has aroused greater interest in studying the prognosis of cancer. The diagnosis of these tumors is based on age, reproductive history and the physical changes of the breast found on clinical examination, histopathology being the most efficient way to confirm the disease, however, the FNA has proved an excellent means of diagnosis because it is a speedy, almost painless and low cost to the owner.
