Abstract

Currently research in poultry nutrition is directed to the use of by-products in order to minimize their discharge to the environment and lower costs in the manufacture of animal feed. Countless are the byproducts produced by Brazil and studies in this area are of great importance. For the use of these by-products in animal feed is necessary knowledge of their chemical composition and the highest levels of use that must meet the requirements at each stage of production. The objective of this review to address scientific papers that show the use of by-products of vegetable and animal origin in feed for broilers.
