Abstract

Neural therapy (NT) is a way of treatment which is consisted in the application of local anesthetics in low concentration in several areas on the patient's body, choosen based on his life story. Pioneering studies on (NT) were begun in 1905 with the discovery of the first sinthetics anesthetic, the procain. Pavlov, Speransky and the brothers Huneke were the first researchers of NT on the XX century. Since then it has begun to be improved by other researchers. ON the companion animals the therapy is a relevant tool on the treating of several pathologies. The treatment described on the report is focused on the neurological sequel caused by the distemper, which is a disease infectious contagious caused by a RNA virus and causes neural weakness. The target of this paperwork is to demonstrate the effectively of the neural therapy in an animal with distemper sequel.
