Abstract

Primary hepatobiliary neoplasms are rare in cats. They can differentiate according to their form of expansion in nodular, massive or diffuse. The definitive diagnosis is with histopathological examination, however, in the majority, the diagnosis turns out to be in postmortem. Due to its aggressive biological behavior, the prognosis becomes unfavorable. The objective of the present study was to report the case of a nine-year-old female feline with chronic renal disease and feline leukemia virus, who was diagnosed with a fast evolutionary cholangiocarcinoma (30 days) that evolved to metastasis in the duodenum and spleen.
