Abstract

Hemoncose is a verminose caused by the parasite of the genus Haemonchus, which is located in the Abomasum of ruminants. This disease is easily spread in the herd due to ingestion of the grass contaminated with the larva in its infecting phase. It usually affects sheep and goats being the worm, it is a difficult organism to be totally eliminated from both the environment and the animal. Its cycle requires few factors to be initiated, as well as a suitable temperature for the development of its eggs in the environment.
