This work aims to present a literature review of the disease Feline Infectious Peritonitis, also known by the acronym PIF, focusing on its most recent treatment updates. To carry out this research, bibliographical references from the last 5 years were used, where there have already been changes in this period according to studies consulted. One example is the form of treatment, which a few years ago might have seemed unfeasible to some veterinarians and owners but, today, with the nucleoside analogue GS-441524, also known as “GS”, the prognosis of many feline patients has become more favorable.
