Abstract

Round cell tumors consist of the morphological similarity between the cells that make up these tumors, which are classified, according to their embryological origin, in mesenchymal neoplasms. Among the different types of neoplastic cells from round cells, this work will focus on multiple myeloma and lymphoma. The multiple myeloma, which is a rare neoplasm, which originates from the neoplastic proliferation of plasma cells from the marrow bone. The lymphoma, being a neoplasm originating from solid hematopoietic tissues and the etiology of this neoplasm in dogs is still unknown. Thus, the objective of this study was to report an animal with a diagnosis of non-epteliotropic cutaneous lymphoma of T immunophenotype and presenting evident clinical aspects of multiple myeloma.
